Deployment Options

MyRent has been developed using the most powerful programming tools and languages. The software is written in Java and it uses the PostGreSQL database server, Hibernate and Tomcat.

The following minimum requirements are recommended:
  • Pentium 4 or Multi Core
  • 512MB RAM
  • 1GB HD free space
  • MAC OS X, Linux (e.g. Ubuntu), Windows XP/2000
If you need to connect many locations, you should have a dedicated server. In this case, you can decide to use a Linux/Unix Server or Windows Server. If you prefer Linux based OS platform, such as Ubuntu, we'll connect your locations through NX Protocol (http://www.nomachine.com), otherwise we'll use Windows Terminal Service (Terminal Service is a Microsoft Software not included with MyRent).
